Horton’s Hardware opened  its brick and mortar in 1976 in downtown Tipton, Indiana, owned by Tim’s parents, Guy and Nancy Horton. In 1995, Tim and his wife Karen, purchased the business which has now evolved into so much more than simply hardware,

warranting a name change to “Horton’s Home & Garden.”

Horton’s has now become a destination in Tipton and surrounding areas for our selections of lawn and garden, home decor, boutique clothing, and famous Fudge Shoppe.  Family-owned and operated since our inception, Horton’s Home & Garden is a beautifully unique shopping experience  both in the brick and mortar and our newest addition  of online shopping.  We also offer four major events throughout the year that draw thousands of people to downtown Tipton.
